Go meet it halfway.

Filling the Well Creative Workshop
This weekend I attended a day long art journaling creative workshop for women led by Lisa Sonora Beam, author of the Creative Entrepeneur. We made our own visual journals and filled them with paper ephemera, magazine pictures, stamp art, paint and glitter (mostly just me). This is the beginning of a creative art journaling practice to heal my mind, body, and spirit and let my subconscious speak...

Weekly practice: intention + mindfulness +...
I’m starting a weekly practice that answers 3 questions, and takes just a few minutes …
1) What is your intention for the week? Work on my coaching practice, follow a shaman’s path, be fearless, feel fire energy within. Dance my prayers!
2) What thought or action do you want to remain mindful of? I am beautiful, strong, and wise. I am enough just the way that I am. I...

Breathing in the Light
Posted on September 12, 2010 in Ask Divine Mother
Breathing in light is something that can be done all the time with your natural breathing. Have the intention that as you breathe naturally, you are going to be breathing in light. Particularly when you are walking in nature or outside taking a walk, that kind of thing, plan to breathe in light. Even once into every chakra would be great....

Never forget . . .
It is all worth it. Every day, even a sad day blurred by headaches and filled with business meetings, is magical and infinite. This dance, this particular proton dance, will never come again. This tune we’re too busy to hear will not be played again. Never forget to be thankful for your life.

The Sound of Waves
Give up subtle thinking, the twofold, threefold multiplication of mistakes.
Listen to the sound of waves within you.

My King
I was dead and now I am alive. I was in tears and now I am laughing. The power of love swept over my soul and now I am that eternal power.
My eyes are content. My soul is fulfilled. My heart is roaring. My face glows like Venus.
You are the majestic fountain of the Sun that pours upon my head. I am the shadow of a willow tree bent over and melting. The knowledge of you has lifted me...

True Identity
In form you are the microcosm; in reality you are the macrocosm.

Stillness is a Powerful Action
Stillness can be a powerful answer to the noise of others. It can be a way to push back against the buzz of the world, to take control. It can remind you of what’s important. How to Practice →

Infinite Reality
Being infinite, the whole of reality is too much for the conscious human mind to grasp. The best any one of us can do is to take the biggest slice of Infinite Reality that we can hold - intellectually, spiritually and emotionally - and make that slice our personal sense of what is real. But no matter how broad it is, any human perception of reality can be no more than a tiny sliver of Infinite...

That’s what being an entrepreneur is all about.
Creating stunning solutions, charging real money because your worth it, being transparent about demand, then working insanely hard, innovating, solving and serving your clients like nobody else.
And, that’s what being an entrepreneur is all about.

Something better in return
Should heartache enter your mind and ambush your joy, it prepares the way for happiness. Quickly it sweeps all others out of the house so that joy may come to you from the Source of good. It shakes the yellow leaves from the branch of the heart, so that fresh leaves may grow continuously. It pulls up the root of old happiness so that a new ecstasy may stroll in from Yonder. Heartache pulls...

Madly In Love With Me
I recently attended a Madly In Love With Me Celebration on February 13, 2010, hosted by Christine Arylo. It was transformational, and I feel like I was able to push through a lot of healing during that day. I have also committed to starting a 40-day self love practice.
Each morning you ask yourself: “What do I need to do to take care of me today?” And then listen. Whatever it says,...

A holy man said . . .
A holy man said, Nature wants things to be round.
The cycle of the seasons, the stages of life, the movement of the feathered dancers around a drum; the opening of the bowl of the pipe on which we pray; the lodge of our purification; the stones.

Coming back to wakefulness
“The Dream That Must Be Interpreted” by Mevlana Jallaludin Rumi
We began as a mineral. We emerged into plant life, and into the animal state, and then into being human, and always we have forgotten our former states, except in early spring when we slightly recall being green again. That’s how a young person turns toward a teacher. That’s how a baby leans...

Thank you for this life I've lived
A prayer of gratitude:
“Thank you for this life I’ve lived! Thank you for the abundance of goodness that will surely come.”
The acknowledgement springs from a deep place within, a sacred place where the conscious merges with the subconscious - the place where ceremony emanates.
“Thank you! Thank you for the blessings and sustenance that you have given. Thank you for...
How to Create Creativity
A number of personality traits have been shown to be associated with creative productivity. A high degree of self-confidence is a basic need for an individual that aims to create something new, so is unconventional thought and curiosity. In order to practice creativity, one must be a master of his particular domain, while also having the autonomy to explore and the flexibility to step outside of...
Be Gentle With Yourself
“Notice any tendency to ‘be hard on yourself,’ or to feel frustrated or a failure. See this kind of judgment as just another kind of thinking, and gently return awareness to the breath.”
